Ugly Betty S02 E18 :Jump

After all the hype surrounding the Lindsay Lohan appearance, we were expecting more than a brief flashback that explained Betty’s hatred of sports. Even the little French kid had more screen time! It would be one thing if Lohan was introduced briefly midseason and continued to make appearances; that would have made sense. Introducing her for thirty seconds before the season’s end was a strange choice.

Ugly Betty S02 E17- The Kids are Alright

On last night’s episode of Ugly Betty, Wili’s moment of triumph arrived. La Slater is officially back at Mode as Creative Director, and all is right with the Ugly Betty world. This episode was all about couples. Hilda pursued Coach Diaz, Gio pursued Betty, and Marc and Amanda did what they do best–torture Betty. The “Betty Whorez” e-mail was one of those small Mode moments that we haven’t seen in a while. Stay tuned for nexy week season finale with guest appearances from Lindsay Lohan, and Naomi Campbell.

Lindsay Lohan began shooting her spot on ABC’s Ugly Betty on Saturday.

“She was so excited to shoot, a source reported, “Lindsay arrived on set 45 minutes early.” Adds the source, “Lindsay and America [Ferrera] really hit it off!”

Variety reports she’ll play a down-on-her-luck old high school pal of Betty.Lohan’s character was not particularly nice to Betty back then, but when the two bump into each other in the finale, Lohan’s character is down on her luck, in sharp contrast to Betty’s glamorous and promising career at Gotham fashion mag Mode.

Lohan’s first episode airs on the May 22 season finale. The actress will also appear in multiple episodes of the ABC hit.
